The gas boiler is undoubtedly one of the most acquired heating equipment in recent times in most homes in the country. But what are its characteristics? And what makes it different from other devices?
The way these systems work is relatively simple. This heating equipment has a tank, called a boiler, whose main function is to increase the temperature of the water through a fuel, in this case gas. Once heated, it leaves the tank to the different radiators and emitters of domestic hot water (ACS) distributed by the house.
These boilers operate on butane, propane or natural gas (also known as “city gas”), so that when these come into contact with the combustion flame of the burner, an energy release occurs. It is in the part of the exchanger where the water begins to take temperature, then going out to different circuits to, for example, provide hot water to a bathroom. This way, when a tap is opened the device is activated and the water comes out at a high temperature.
There are endless models of boilers, depending on their level of consumption, performance or savings. However, these are usually divided into three fundamental types: murals, watertight and condensation. The first are small in size, being compatible with small dwellings. Watertight boilers are very safe because they are hermetically sealed, and condensing boilers are known to be highly efficient.
